MASH2, the second stage of the Mount Alexander Solar Homes project is preparing to go out to the people with six information sessions in community halls around the Mount Alexander Shire. Each session will be chaired by the Mayor or the councillor for the area and feature several well-informed speakers. Last year over 200 people attended just four sessions, so the organisers are expecting to make contact with even more people this year.
The first session will be at the Campbells Creek Community Centre at 7pm on Wednesday June 24th; the second and third at the Castlemaine Civic Centre (the Council Offices next to the Town Hall) at 5pm and 7pm on Thursday June 25th; the fourth will be at Tread Harcourt at 7pm on Tuesday June 30th; the fifth at Newstead Community Centre on 7pm on Wednesday 1st July; and the final one will be at Maldon’s Kangaroo Hotel at 7pm on Tuesday 14th July.
The sessions will last one hour and provide a great opportunity to ask those questions which might have been puzzling you for some time. Those interested can register for these sessions at mash.org.au or if you’re not on the web, phone 0455 589 065.
