MASH stands for 'More Australian Solar Homes'
MASH Community Solar Bulk-Buy
MASH - More Australian Solar Homes - is a community solar bulk-buy that makes rooftop solar and storage easy and affordable for households, businesses and other organisations. It is organised by the not-for-profit Hub Foundation in Castlemaine, Central Victoria, which was set up in 2014 to organise projects that help cut CO2 emissions in our Shire and across our region.
MASH has helped over 700 households & businesses cut their electricity bills by around $490,000 each year by going solar. This has reduced CO2 emissions by around 4,000 tonnes annually, equal to around 780 less cars on our roads.
As part of our promise to give back to the communities where we work, we've donated five free solar systems to community groups & schools.
MASH: helping Central Victorians move towards a cleaner energy future.
