Have a free coffee and a chat about solar on Tuesday mornings at the Good Table, Barker Street, Castlemaine – with the next one Tuesday 7 July, 9.30am-11.00!
The Hub Foundation, organiser of the MASH2 (Mount Alexander Solar Homes) project, is hosting coffee mornings for anyone who is interested in going solar. The coffee mornings are informal, friendly and relaxed. They are a chance to meet the people behind the MASH2 project, find out more about it and whether it could be right for you. And of course, enjoy one of the lovely brews made by barrister, Nigel.
So, if you have any questions about solar (in general) or MASH (in particular), do drop by between 9.30am and 11.00. Here’s some of the questions we get asked…
- What’s the difference between the two MASH systems on offer?
- What’s the payback on solar with/without a loan?
- How much could I save off my electricity bill?
- Is it worth going solar now, or waiting until the new battery storage technology comes out?
- Could leasing be a good option for me?
- How long will the whole thing take?
- What sort of service can I expect from the solar installer?
- How much is my electricity retailer going to charge me to reconfigure the meter?
- Is it worth switching electricity retailers now? If so, who would you recommend?
No need to book, just turn up!
