At least seven new jobs are being created to support the launch of MASH3, the upcoming third round of the successful community solar bulk-buy organised by the not-for-profit Hub Foundation in Castlemaine.
Marketing and events jobs are currently being advertised by the Hub Foundation with a recruitment morning on Saturday 4 June at the Hub Plot, Templeton Street, Castlemaine.
Starting at 10am sharp, this session is for anyone who is interested in joining the MASH3 events team. Up to five people will be hired to help run MASH3 stalls as the bulk-buy rolls out across three shires: Macedon Ranges, Mount Alexander Shire and the City of Greater Bendigo. They will also be involved in the MASH3 info meetings which will be held from Gisborne to Bendigo and many places in between.
Anyone who is interested, should register online before the event.
A Marketing Assistant role is also advertised. Details at the bottom of this page.
MASH3 promises to be our biggest, more exciting solar bulk-buy yet”, says Jo Kaptein, Project Officer at the Hub Foundation. “We’ve just hired an Administration Assistant. Now we need around six more enthusiastic, resourceful people who want to do something about climate change and are ready to help us achieve the ambitious goals we’ve set.
MASH3 will launch in July 2016. It will offer high quality solar PV systems at discounted bulk-buy prices plus free community installations for every 100 systems installed.
For those interested in battery storage, MASH3 will also include solar-plus-storage systems at competitive prices, both for homes without solar and those wanting to add storage to existing systems.
With June 30th coming close, some readers will be considering tax deductible donations. The Hub Foundation would be a worthy recipient of hard earned dollars as we have very low overheads and a great track record in cutting emissions in the region.
