Applications are being sought from community groups in Macedon Ranges for a free 5Kw solar PV system.
This solar system will be donated to the community of Macedon Ranges as a result of the collaboration between the Hub Foundation Castlemaine, the not-for-profit organiser of the MASH solar bulk-buy, and SunEdison, the supplier for MASH2.
Valued at $7,400, the 20-panel system comprises a European-manufactured inverter and top quality panels.
“This donation marks the successful installation of over 100 systems in Macedon Ranges resulting from MASH2, the second round of our hugely successful solar bulk-buy program,” said Jo Kaptein, Project Officer at the Hub Foundation. “It is part of the promise the MASH project makes to each community and will be the fourth solar installation donated to community groups in Macedon Ranges and Mount Alexander Shire by MASH since May 2015.”
“We are looking forward to delivering yet more free community solar installations for the people of Macedon Ranges with our next round of the MASH project, MASH3, which will launch in mid 2016,” said Kaptein.
The deadline for applications is 30th May 2016. Visit www.mash.org.au or call 0455 589065 for details.
